Irrecognizable Code when Using Adobe Pdf Printer

When use Adobe pdf printer to print something to a pdf file, it may end in a log file, which shows printing error, or a file with irrecognizable code. This happens when one use an English version windows. A possible reason is that one may change the "Current language for non-Unicode program" to non-English. To solve this problem, one doesn't have to change this setting back to English. Instead, one can uncheck one of settings in Printing Preferences.
  1. When print, choose Adobe pdf printer. Then click the properties button.

  2. The Printing Preferences is popup. Go to "Adobe PDF Settings" tab, and uncheck the setting "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts". Then everything would print OK.

The new launched Citi and AT&T cobranded Access More Card comes with an exciting promotion which offers the card holder up to $650 statement credit if he buys a smartphone, like iphone 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and so on,  from the link given by Citi and spends $2000 within first 3 months of account opening.  The benefits of this card are listed below.

  • Exclusive New Phone Offer*

  • 3 ThankYou Points for every $1 you spend on purchases made online at retail and travel websites*
  • 3 ThankYou Points for every $1 you spend on products and services purchased directly from AT&T*
  • 1 point earned for every $1 you spend on other purchases*
  • 10,000 Anniversary bonus points after you spend $10,000 in prior cardmembership year*

  • My card was received. Here I will give a brief introduction and tricks for how to use the link to buy phones for existing AT&T customer.
    1. After the card is received, activate it and link it to your Citi online account. The Phone Offer will be listed close to the card with "Take advantage of your AT&T Access More Phone Offer." with a link "View Offer" next to it.
    2. Click "View Offer",  a popup window will ask if you want to continue to ATT.com, click the Continue button.
    3. Then it will be redirected a webpage "AT&T Access More Phone Offer". At this page, choose the appropriate option for you. I'm an existing AT&T customer, so "Replace a phone" is good for me.
    4. Click  "Replace a phone", it will be redirected to page for login. Login with your AT&T online account, then all lines in your account will be shown with "Upgrade Eligibility " link next to it.
    5. Click the "Upgrade Eligibility " link, it will be redirected to a page which asks you if you want to take advantage of the your AT&T Access More Phone Offer. Click the yes button. Note here, if your card is activated and linked to your Citi online account not long enough, the page which asks you if you want to take advantage of the your AT&T Access More Phone Offer wouldn't show after you click the "Upgrade Eligibility " link. Instead, it will ask you to upgrade directly, then no non-contract option for you to purchase a smartphone. To get the promotion, a smartphone with full price and without contract must be purchased. Therefore, close the current webpage and start from scratch by the link in your Citi online account. Repeat previous steps until you see the take advantage of the your AT&T Access More Phone Offer webpage after you click the "Upgrade Eligibility " link.
    6. Then choose your smartphone and check out. When check out, don't fill in SSN and birthday for existing ATT customer. Just fill it shipping and billing information and check out. For some existing customer who got order canceled by AT&T, it might be because of filling in SSN and birthday here.
